Sec. 8-12-5. - Animal shelter advisory committee—Creation. There is hereby created the animal shelter advisory committee, consisting of seven citizens of the city, who shall be appointed by the mayor, subject to approval of the city council, for a term of two years or until their successors are appointed and qualified, and who shall serve without compensation, or oath. The manager in charge of the animal shelter and the health officer shall be ex officio members of such committee. (Ord. No. 5260, § 1(part), 6-12-2008)
