12.04.080: CENTERLINE: "Centerline" means single or double continuous or broken yellow or white line or lines marked upon the surface of a roadway to indicate each portion of the roadway allocated to traffic proceeding in two (2) opposite directions and if no line is so painted or otherwise marked, it is an imaginary line in the roadway equally distant from the edges or curbs of the roadway.
