Sec. 46-34. - Receipt for payment of fare. No licensee of any taxicab, upon receiving full payment for a fare as authorized by this article, shall refuse to give a receipt upon the request of any passenger making the payment. A receipt provided to the passenger via the passenger's e-mail address shall be sufficient for purposes of providing a receipt for payment upon the request of any passenger. Additionally, the permittee shall make available to each licensee a receipt book or other electronic instrument capable of creating a payment record required by this section. (Ord.
