2501.15 - Research Reports and Testing Laboratories 2501.15.1 Research reports and testing laboratories. In those cases in which a product is proposed for use in Columbus but such product does not meet specific standards set by the Columbus Fire Prevention Code, the fire code official may accept authenticated research reports from the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., or from other approved authoritative sources to assist him in determining the acceptability of that product.
