Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 202-501 Created; composition.

Sec. 202-501. - Created; composition. Within the office of the mayor, there is hereby created an economic development commission composed of five (5) members, all of whom shall not be of the same political party. (Code 1975, § 2-304)

Sec. 202-502. - Powers and duties generally. The economic development commission shall be vested with all the duties and powers provided in IC 36-7-12. (Code 1975, § 2-305)

Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 202-503 Staff; support.

Sec. 202-503. - Staff; support. The mayor shall be responsible for providing any administrative or clerical staff or assistance and all supplies required by the economic development commission. (Code 1975, § 2-306)

Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 202-504 Reports after bonds are issued.

Sec. 202-504. - Reports after bonds are issued. The economic development commission shall request individuals or business entities that have obtained economic development revenue bonds to submit reports on the first and third anniversaries of the bonds' issuance setting forth the number and type of additional jobs achieved by the bond project. The commission shall file a report with the clerk of the council each January setting forth the responses which have been received from individuals and business entities, who have been requested to file a report on the number and type of additional jobs achieved by the bond project. An individual or business entity that has obtained economic development bonds but refuses to submit a report within sixty (60) days of a request by the economic development commission violates the Code and is subject to the general penalties found herein.
