Sec. 629. - Qualifications of members; jurisdiction and duties generally; removal of members. The Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Quarterly County Court of Shelby County shall have the power to fix the qualifications of the members of said commission; shall have the power to prescribe their jurisdiction and duties and said commissioners may be removed at the will and pleasure of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Quarterly County Court of Shelby County without the necessity of a hearing or notice, and their action in removing any commissioner shall be final. (Priv. Acts 1947, ch. 500, § 1)
