5.40.150 - Use of vehicle for hire, animal-drawn vehicle and taxicab stands required—Exceptions. No vehicle for hire, animal-drawn vehicle, or taxicab shall remain standing upon any portion of any public street or sidewalk within the City, except for loading and unloading persons for a period not to exceed five minutes, unless specifically authorized by the permit. This section shall not apply to any vehicle for hire, animal-drawn vehicle, or taxicab while the same is engaged by and being paid for by persons. (Ord. 7014 § 1, 2008)
