80-71. City of Milwaukee Contracts and Purchases. 1. COMPLIANCE OF CITY CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS. It is the policy of the city to comply with the noise emission standards, as set forth in this subchapter, in its own operations and the operations of its contractors and subcontractors. All contractors and subcontractors shall be notified of and required to comply with the provisions of this section. 2. CITY PURCHASES. It is the policy of the city to purchase only equipment which complies to the standards established for the same by this subchapter.
