Sec. 2-1651. - Created.

The library board is created. In addition to five board members appointed pursuant to Section 11-90-2 of the Code of Alabama, by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, two additional board members, one appointed by the city council of the City of Madison and one appointed by the Madison County Commission are hereby authorized, each of which shall be appointed for four-year terms, with the initial term of each additional board member commencing on the date specified in the appointing resolution adopted by the respective governing body.
