16.23.040 - Requirements.

A. All electric vehicle charging stations and hydrogen fueling stations shall meet all applicable health and safety standards and the requirements imposed by the state and the City, local fire department and utility director. B. Electric vehicle charging stations and hydrogen fueling stations shall be designed, installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations adopted by the State of California and the City, including applicable national and international safety and performance standards, and the requirements of accredited testing laboratories.
