19.545.010 - Purpose.

A. The purpose of this Chapter is to: 1. Establish procedures for implementing State Density Bonus requirements, as set forth in California Government Code Sections 65915 through 65918, and 2. Facilitate the development of affordable housing consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the Housing Element of the City's General Plan. B. This Chapter establishes incentives available to developers to produce housing affordable to very-low, low and moderate-income households, transitional foster youth, disabled veterans, homeless persons, lower-income students, and senior citizens, consistent with State Density Bonus law.
