Sec. 800. - In general.

There shall be the following enumerated boards and commissions which shall have the powers and duties herein stated, and such additional powers and duties, consistent with the provisions of this Charter, as may be granted to them by ordinance of the City Council. In addition, the City Council may create by ordinance such additional advisory boards or commissions as in its judgment are required, and may grant to them such powers and duties as are consistent with the provisions of this Charter. The City Council shall establish by ordinance, the number of members, not less than seven, for each board or commission.
