339.10. - Purpose.

It is the considered judgment of the city council that tattooing, body piercing, and other similar body art by untrained persons is dangerous to the public health and welfare. The purpose and intent of this chapter is to establish rules, regulations, and standards for tattooing and body piercing in the City of Minneapolis. (2001-Or-053, § 1, 4-20-01)
