§ 460.10 — Establishment

460.10. - Establishment.

Pursuant to the authority granted by Minn. Statute, Chapter 428A, Section 428A.01 through 428A.10, there is hereby established a special service district (otherwise referred to herein as the "district") wherein the city may provide services of a kind or to a degree not required or performed elsewhere in the city. Said special service district shall consist of the following area, except for those portions thereof within those zoning districts in which business, commercial and industrial uses are not permitted under the Minneapolis Zoning Code: Commencing at centerline intersection of said Lake Street and 12th Avenue South; thence Southerly 90 feet along 12th Avenue South; thence Easterly from center line of 12th Avenue South and parallel to center line of Lake Street to center line of Cedar Avenue South; thence Northerly to 90 feet north of center line Lake Street; thence Easterly and parallel to Lake Street to the centerline of 12th Avenue South; thence Southerly to beginning Lake Street and 12th Avenue South to the point of commencement and there terminating.
