Sec. 5.07.050. - Individuals licensed only.

Each license provided for in this article may only be issued to an individual person, it being the intention of the council to hold the individual, as the licensee, personally responsible for the orderly conduct of the business. If the applicant is not the sole owner of the business to be conducted on the premises for which the license is sought, or the owner(s), officer(s), manager(s), or director(s) wish to appoint an individual to be licensed, the application must be accompanied by a sworn statement from an owner, officer, manager, or director of the business appointing the applicant as the individual to be licensed, authorizing him/her to apply for the license and to conduct the business. The licensing division reserves the right to require any and all owners, officers, managers, or directors to submit application materials.
