§ 187.27 Severability

Each section and each part of each section of this Cleveland Area Business Code is an independent section or part of a section, and notwithstanding any other evidence of legislative intent, it is the controlling legislative intent that if any section or part of a section or any provision, or the application of it to any person or circumstances, is held invalid, the remaining sections or parts of sections and the application of the provision to any other person or circumstances, other than those as to which it is held invalid, shall not be affected. It is further the legislative intent that the other provisions of this Code would have been adopted independently of the section or parts of a section which are held invalid. (Ord. No. 77-08.
