§ 13-2-502 - WAV TAXICAB PERMITS.

(A) At least six percent of the permits the department issues must be WAV taxicab permits. (B) A permit is valid for three months from the date of issuance. A holder shall pay a fee for each permit issued by the department. The fee for a WAV taxicab permit may not exceed half that of a regular taxicab permit. If a taxicab service provides at least five percent of its rides to persons needing accessible taxicabs, the director shall waive the WAV taxicab permit fee. The fees described shall be set by separate ordinance and may be paid quarterly.
