§ 13-2-502 - WAV TAXICAB PERMITS. (A) At least six percent of the permits the department issues must be WAV taxicab permits. (B) A permit is valid for three months from the date of issuance. A holder shall pay a fee for each permit issued by the department. The fee for a WAV taxicab permit may not exceed half that of a regular taxicab permit. If a taxicab service provides at least five percent of its rides to persons needing accessible taxicabs, the director shall waive the WAV taxicab permit fee.
