Sec. 39-18. - Duties.

The division and the employees assigned to the division shall: (1) Supervise and be responsible for the collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste. (2) Carry out the policies of the director in the overall planning effort to develop a reliable and efficient method for solid waste disposal. (3) Administer and enforce this chapter and related laws. (4) Have such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the director.
