264-06. Master Control Switch for Ventilating Systems.

Central mechanical ventilating systems serving more than 2 floors in any building or structure shall be provided with a master control switch at or near an outside entry door to the building or structure for the use of the fire department and shall be protected and identified with a permanent sign, all in an approved manner. Such switch shall not be required if the building or structure has a central control station which is continuously monitored by a trained operator.
