El Paso City Code § 18.36.010 Adopted.

18.36.010 - Adopted. The book entitled "Standard Amusement Device Code, 1979 Edition," a copy of which, authenticated by the signature of the mayor and the city clerk, and made a public record by resolution of the city council, is on file in the city clerk's office, is adopted as the amusement device code of the city, as fully as if copied at length in this chapter, but with the changes set forth in this chapter. El Paso City Code § 18.36.020 Section 103.2 amended—Inspections.

18.36.020 - Section 103.2 amended—Inspections. Standard Amusement Device Code Section 103.2, inspections, is changed to read: Section 103.2—Inspections. (a) The Building Official is hereby authorized to make such inspections and take such action as may be required to enforce the provisions of this Code. (b) Whenever the Building Official shall find in or upon any amusement ride or device or portion thereof, any condition creating an imminent danger to human life, he shall immediately declare said ride or device to be unsafe and the use discontinued. El Paso City Code § 18.36.030 Section 105.3 added—Fees.

18.36.030 - Section 105.3 added—Fees. Standard Amusement Device Code Section 105, permits, is changed by adding a new Section 105.3 entitled "Fees" to read as follows: Section 105.3—Fees. No permit shall be valid until the fees as prescribed in Section 107.4 of the Standard Building Code shall have been paid; nor shall an amendment to a permit be approved until the additional fees, if required, shall have been paid. El Paso City Code § 18.36.040 Section 107 amended—Violations and penalties.

18.36.040 - Section 107 amended—Violations and penalties. Standard Amusement Device Code Section 107, violations and penalties, is changed to read: Section 107—Violations and Penalties. Any person violating this Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not to exceed two thousand dollars. (Ord. 9431 § 16, 1988: prior code § 6-17(3))

El Paso City Code § 18.36.050 Section 108 deleted and replaced—Board of adjustments and appeals.

18.36.050 - Section 108 deleted and replaced—Board of adjustments and appeals. Standard Amusement Device Code Section 108, board of adjustments and appeals, is deleted in its entirety and reworded as follows: Section 108—Board of Adjustments and Appeals. The Board of Adjustments and Appeals as established under Section 111 (amended) of the Standard Building Code shall be the designated body for the express purpose of providing for the final interpretation of provisions of this Code. (Prior code § 6-17(4))
