11.04.020 - Traffic engineer—General duty. It shall be the general duty of the City Traffic Engineer to: (A) Determine the installation and proper timing and maintenance of traffic-control devices; (B) Conduct engineering analysis of traffic accidents and to devise remedial measures; (C) Conduct engineering investigations of traffic conditions; (D) Plan the operation of traffic on the streets and the highways of this City; and (E) Cooperate with other City officials in the development of ways and means to improve traffic conditions; and (F) Carry out the additional powers and duties imposed by ordinances of this City.
