§ 40-137. - Deductions from salaries. (a) The City shall forward monthly to the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System a percentage deducted monthly from the actual paid base salary of each member of the system employed by the Oklahoma City Fire Department as follows: (1) beginning January 1, 1981, four percent; (2) beginning January 1, 1982, six percent; and (3) beginning January 1, 1983, eight percent. (b) The members of the Fire Department may, by a vote of its paid members, increase the amount of the deduction. (Ord. No. 21916, § 2, 2-12-02)
