§ 40-137. - Deductions from salaries.
(a) The City shall forward monthly to the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System a percentage deducted monthly from the actual paid base salary of each member of the system employed by the Oklahoma City Fire Department as follows:
(1) beginning January 1, 1981, four percent;
(2) beginning January 1, 1982, six percent; and
(3) beginning January 1, 1983, eight percent.
(b) The members of the Fire Department may, by a vote of its paid members, increase the amount of the deduction.

§ 40-138. - Appropriation and transfer of percentage of salary to State pension system.
The City shall forward to the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System an amount equal to a percentage of the actual paid base salary of each member of the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System employed by the Oklahoma City Fire Department as is or shall be required by 11 O.S. § 49-100.1 et seq., as may be amended from time to time.
