2.32.020 - Qualifications—Training. (A) The Sheriff shall establish the requirements to be met by persons to qualify to become members of the Corps. Such requirements shall include but need not be limited to physical, mental, aptitude and personality requirements. The Sheriff shall also establish inventory and character standards, and shall provide for the mandatory training of such persons in all fields of police work. (B) It shall be the duty of the Sheriff to provide such training for such persons and also any further training for members which he may deem to be necessary.
