2.70.010 - Created. There is created a Youth Leadership Advisory Council. As used in this Chapter, the term "Advisory Council" refers to the Youth Leadership Advisory Council. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to: (1) Create and foster opportunities for civic engagement and leadership for youth and provide youth with opportunities to engage with City staff and elected officials; and (2) Advise and make recommendations to the City Council concerning subjects of particular interest to youth, including, without limitation, education, youth development, social programs and initiatives.
