Sec. 536-621. - Green building certification discount. To encourage the development of certified green building projects, the board of business and neighborhood services is authorized to adopt regulations for the purpose of creating and implementing a policy discounting or offering rebates for permits issued under this chapter for certified green building projects. Such discount or rebate shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the total cost of each permit issued. Any such policy or program developed by the director shall expire no later than December 31, 2011.
