Sec. 490.105. - Authority created. There is hereby created the Jacksonville Health Facilities Authority, which is a public body corporate and politic. The Authority is a public instrumentality and an agency of the City, and the exercise by the Authority of the powers conferred by this Chapter shall be deemed and held to be the performance of an essential public function.
