SEC. 44-29. EXEMPTION OF ELEEMOSYNARY INSTITUTIONS. Associations organized for the promotion of art, science, charity or benevolence shall be exempt from taxation, as shall all entertainments given by citizens for charitable purposes, or for support or aid of any literary or cemetery association.
