(A) Upon an indictment being issued against any member of the Board or other elected official of the City, the Board shall hold an administrative hearing in regard to the official so indicted concerning the nature of the conduct of the official which resulted in the indictment.
(B) The hearing shall be closed upon the request of the officer who is prosecuting the indictment or in the discretion of the Board when to do otherwise would jeopardize the proceedings on the indictment in a court of law.
(C) Testimony shall be taken and other evidence may be examined, and the rules pertaining to administrative law shall be followed.
