Sec. 23.402. - Division Chief. The Chief of Animal Care and Protective Services is the Division Chief of the Animal Care and Protective Services Division. The Chief shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Chief shall have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and at least five years of management experience preferably in the management of an animal care facility or other commensurate training and experience.
