11.22.055 - Engine compression brakes. It is unlawful for any person to use engine compression brakes or any similar braking system while operating a vehicle, other than an emergency vehicle, within the City, unless the vehicle is equipped with an operational muffler and exhaust system which complies with Federal and state noise emission standards.
