in effectA "Co-generation facility" means an energy or power generation facility that utilizes waste heat or another single primary energy source to generate at least two different forms of useful energy such as electricity, heat, steam, or some other form of energy or power to supply some of the energy or power needs of an individual building or group of buildings or some of the energy or power needs of another land use on a site. Electricity generated by a co-generation facility may be sold back to the electrical distribution system or transmission grid or to other end-users. (Ords. 26388, 26456, 29364.)
