Child day care center.
San José Municipal Code § 20.200.190
in effect"Child day care center" is any child day care facility, including a preschool, other than a family day care home, which provides non-medical care to children under eighteen years of age in need of personal services, supervision, or assistance essential for sustaining the activities of daily living or for the protection of the individual on less than a twenty-four-hour basis.
