Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 25-53 Purpose.

§ 25-53. - Purpose. (a) The Council finds that acts of vandalism, degradation and brutality intended to intimidate and harass other persons because of their membership in a particular racial, religious or minority group is unacceptable in a democratic society such as ours. (b) It is the intent of Council that such acts shall not be tolerated within the City but shall be punished to the full extent that the law allows. (Code 1980, § 25-53; Ord. No. 18949, § 1, 3-15-88)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 25-54 Intimidation; harassment; damage, destruction or vandalism of real or personal property of another.

§ 25-54. - Intimidation; harassment; damage, destruction or vandalism of real or personal property of another. No person shall, maliciously and with the specific intent to intimidate or harass another person because of that person's race, color, religion, creed, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin or disability, damage, destroy, vandalize or deface any real or personal property of another person or of any religious organization or institution. (Code 1980, § 25-54; Ord. No. 18949, § 1, 3-15-88)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 25-55 Assault or battery.

§ 25-55. - Assault or battery. No person shall, maliciously and with the specific intent to intimidate or harass another person because of that person's race, color, religion, creed, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin or disability, assault or batter another person. (Code 1980, § 25-55; Ord. No. 18949, § 1, 3-15-88)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 25-56 Penalty.

§ 25-56. - Penalty. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a Class "b" offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in an amount not to exceed $750.00, excluding costs and/or imprisonment in the City Jail not to exceed six months.
