Denver Revised Municipal Code § 55-276 Required.

Sec. 55-276. - Required. No person shall conduct, operate or maintain a parking lot without first obtaining a license therefor from the manager of licensing and consumer protection. (Code 1950, § 944.3; Ord. No. 1003-25, § 32, 7-28-25)

Denver Revised Municipal Code § 55-277 Application.

Sec. 55-277. - Application. (a) Application for parking lot licenses shall be made by the owner or operator thereof to the manager of licensing and consumer protection and shall set forth the following: The name and address of the applicant, and if a partnership, the names and addresses of all partners, and, if a corporation, the name, date and state under which incorporated, and the names and addresses of the officers; if the applicant is a nonresident of the city, the name and address of a local representative inside the city limits upon whom service can be had under the provisions hereof, or a summons or other process issued by court. (b) In accepting a license under the provisions of this division, an operator or owner agrees to notify the manager of licensing and consumer protection as to any material changes in the facts set forth in his application. The notification of such changes shall be in writing and properly acknowledged. (Code 1950, §§ 944.4, 944.5; Ord. No. 1003-25, § 32, 7-28-25)

Sec. 55-278. - Fees. Application and license fees under this division are prescribed in section 32-99. (Code 1950, §§ 944.3, 944.7)

Denver Revised Municipal Code § 55-279 Proof of compliance with Code prerequisite to issuance.

Sec. 55-279. - Proof of compliance with Code prerequisite to issuance. No license shall be issued under this division until satisfactory proof shall have been made to the manager of licensing and consumer protection that the parking lot is laid out and constructed and will be maintained in accordance with this Code and the ordinances and regulations of the city. Denver Revised Municipal Code § 55-280 Bond prerequisite to issuance.

Sec. 55-280. - Bond prerequisite to issuance. Before the issuance of a license under this division, the applicant shall execute to the city a bond in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) particularly conditioned to hold the city or any individual or patron harmless from any judgment or from any costs or expense due to injury or casualty happening to any person or property, real or personal, direct or indirect, through or by reason of the operation of the parking lot and the issuance of a license hereunder.
