§ 2-121 DUTIES. The director of human resources shall act to coordinate activities within the department. The director shall provide overall management functions for the department, including fiscal control, human resource programs and administration of the city's human resource management program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the state civil service law for firefighters and police officers, and in cooperation with other city departments.
