PAVING CONTRACTORS

Denver Revised Municipal Code ch. 49, art. XVII, div. 5

Denver Revised Municipal Code § 49-626 Required.

Sec. 49-626. - Required. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of street or alley paving without first having obtained a license from the manager of licensing and consumer protection so to do; provided, however, that a general contractor licensed under division 2 of this article shall not be required to be licensed as paving contractor. Denver Revised Municipal Code § 49-627 Fees.

Sec. 49-627. - Fees. Application and license fees under this division are prescribed in section 32-63. (Code 1950, §§ 339B.2, 339B.3)

Denver Revised Municipal Code § 49-628 Bond.

Sec. 49-628. - Bond. A bond shall be required under this division with some reliable surety company to be approved by the manager of transportation and infrastructure in the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which bond shall be conditioned to comply with all requirements, specifications and instructions of the manager of transportation and infrastructure and all of the requirements of the Code and ordinances of the city, pertaining to the paving of streets or alleys, including the payment of all fees, penalties or cost of repairs.
