§ 55-81. - After hours service calls. The utilities superintendent or designee schedules service calls on a first come first call basis. The charge for such services are set forth in this Code. Any customer who requests the performance of a service after regular business hours shall be charged and shall pay an additional charge per service call as set forth in Chapter 60, the General Schedule of Fees. For the purposes of this section, after hours service calls shall be those service calls scheduled for other than between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays. The utilities superintendent is hereby authorized to waive the after hours service charge whenever in the utilities superintendent's discretion the service call is in response to an emergency not caused by the customer.
