Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 49-106 Required.

§ 49-106. - Required. The owner of any vehicle proposed to be used for the trash hauling business shall apply to the Director of the Health Department for inspection and approval for the specific purpose of hauling any municipal solid waste. Upon such inspection, approval or rejection of such vehicles shall be based upon the standards set forth in this division. Additional inspections may be made at any time necessary to secure compliance with the regulations set forth, but no additional fee shall be charged therefor. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 49-107 Report.

§ 49-107. - Report. Upon approval for use of any vehicle inspected as to fitness for hauling trash, a written statement signed by the Director of the Health Department shall be filed in the office of the Supervisor of Licenses and a copy furnished to the applicant. The statement shall list the vehicles inspected and approved and identify the same by make, model, type and engine number as furnished by the owner requesting inspection, in the case of self-propelled vehicles; and in the case of vehicles not self-propelled, a sufficient description of the type to permit ready identification. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 49-108 Decal.

§ 49-108. - Decal. (a) Upon receipt of the report of inspection and approval, the Supervisor of Licenses shall prepare and issue an identification decal for each vehicle approved pursuant to the provisions of this division. The decal shall designate the use of the vehicle for the hauling of any municipal solid waste and the vehicle shall not be used for any trash hauling purpose other than that designated on the decal. (b) Identification decals shall be issued only to the owner of a vehicle subject to regulation under this division, and shall be attached securely to the inside lower right-hand corner of the windshield of the vehicle for which issued in plain sight for inspection or observation at all times, whether the vehicle is in motion or at rest. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 49-109 Fee.

§ 49-109. - Fee. Persons who must have a vehicle inspected pursuant to the provisions of this part shall pay to the City the fee established in Chapter 60, the General Schedule of Fees. (Code 1980, § 49-109)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 49-110 Term and transfer.

§ 49-110. - Term and transfer. (a) The inspection fee paid as required by the provisions of this part by the vehicle owner for the original identification decal shall be a one-time charge without requirement for subsequent renewal, but shall not follow the vehicle if transferred to another owner. (b) Interchange of any such decal from one vehicle to another is prohibited and a violation shall constitute cause for a forfeiture of the decal. (Code 1970, § 9-436; Code 1980, § 49-110; Ord.
