9.16.040 - Penalty for creating nuisances. Any person who shall cause, create, keep, permit or otherwise be the author of a nuisance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined as provided in Sections 1.08.010, 1.08.020 and 1.08.030, and each day that such nuisance shall continue shall constitute a separate offense; provided, the imposition of a penalty hereunder shall not abrogate the right of the city to cause the abatement of any nuisance.
