Miss. Code Ann. § 27-105-307
in effectWhen no bid is made by any qualified financial institution in the county or in the adjoining county to qualify as a depository at the January meeting, the board of supervisors shall readvertise at some subsequent meeting for a depository and select same, in the manner provided by law.
