Miss. Code Ann. § 69-17-107
in effectAny person who shall violate any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail not less than thirty days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
