Miss. Code Ann. § 27-35-27
in effectOne (1) of the personal assessment rolls and also one (1) of the real assessment rolls shall be delivered to the assessor, and the others shall be kept by the clerk of the board of supervisors, to be used in making the copies hereinafter provided.
