Off-Site Parking and/or Shared Off-Site Parking

in effectParking spaces shall be provided on the same lot as the use they are intended to serve except
under the procedure hereinafter set forth.
1. Required parking for an individual use may be provided off-site; however, such
parking shall be located within a distance reasonably walkable by a person between
the off-site parking area and the use for which it is intended.
2. Subject to certain limitations, two (2) or more uses may share off-street parking
facilities, with each such use being considered to have provided the parking spaces
individually. Each use must have different hours during which the shared parking
area is to be used.
3. The following guidelines must be met:
A. Shared spaces for residential units must be located within 250 feet from the
dwelling unit they serve.
B. Shared spaces for all other uses must be located within 500 feet from the building
they serve; except,
C. Eighty (80) percent of the shared spaces for other uses must be located within
