Miss. Code Ann. § 75-24-77
in effectAny person willfullyviolating any of the provisions of Section 75-24-73 is guilty of amisdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of notmore than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in thecounty jail for a term not to exceed six (6) months or by both suchfine and imprisonment.
