Pursuant to Section 66323 of the Government Code, or as amended, this Section provides for the streamlined and ministerial approval of State exempt Accessory Dwelling Units. This Section may be used instead of, but not in addition to, the Accessory Dwelling Units allowed pursuant to Section 66313 of the Government Code or Section 20.80.175 of the San José Municipal Code.
