Miss. Code Ann. § 69-7-213
in effectAny person who continues the operation of any of the businesses for which a license is required under the provisions of this article, without having complied with the provisions hereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
