Family day care home.
San José Municipal Code § 20.200.380
in effect"Family day care home" is any residential unit which regularly provides care, protection and supervision to fourteen or fewer children, or as set forth by the state, as an incident to the use of the unit by a family as its residence, for periods of less than twenty-four hours per day.
