Miss. Code Ann. § 75-23-35
in effectAny person who commits any of the acts prohibited by Section 75-23-33, either knowing or having reason to know he is doing so, shall be guilty of a felony, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or imprisonment of not more than five (5) years, or both.
